Our Events and Campaigns
In 1903, Maria Love organized a group of thirty-one prominent Buffalo women to raise funds and implement a program of convalescent respite care for mothers and their children.
Through the generosity of our donors, today the Maria Love Fund is a bridge to independence providing interim financial assistance to the people of Erie County with convalescent needs. Your support of The Charity Ball, Annual Spring Luncheon, and Tidings of Love Campaigns makes a positive and critical impact in our community.
Now that we’ve met, we love the way you care! The Maria Love Fund serves the needs of our community throughout the year. We are there with immediate financial assistance serving as a bridge to independence in times of illness and recovery. Join our Annual Campaign today and help us provide critical grants to the people of Erie County for the next 120 years!
The Maria Love Charity Ball has been a Buffalo tradition for 121 years! This year the dance will be for Middle School children only in grades 5-8 at Buffalo Riverworks! Proceeds support our monthly distributions and annual Maria’s Grants! Click below to purchase your ticket or make a donation!

DAYS OF LOVE
We are thrilled to announce a new partnership opportunity, Days of Love. Each participating WNY high school is paired directly with a local agency in order to gather ‘most needed’ items throughout the month of October. The campaign will culminate in a “Day of Love” in October for each school where the donated items will be organized and delivered to the charitable organization.
