Rules & Conditions
TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ONLY WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT BOTH PARENTS AND STUDENTS HAVE READ THESE GUIDELINES AND AGREED TO ABIDE BY THEM.
- Valid ticket required for admission.
- No Ticket Sales at the door – prior sales only
- Appropriate Dress required: coat and tie, dressy dress or skirt and blouse. No baseball caps allowed.
- All bags will be inspected by security. Only small evening purses will be allowed in the ballroom. All other bags must be checked at the Coat Check.
- For the Middle School Dance (Grades 5 – 8), drop off begins at 5:30pm and children must be picked up promptly at 8:30pm. For safety, children are not dismissed without an adult present.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO PARENT/CHILD DANCE.
- Parents are welcome to wait in the Parent Hospitality Room, with complimentary refreshments during the Middle School Dance.
- Younger siblings and other family members are not allowed in the ballroom.
- For the High School Dance (Grades 9 – 12), doors open at 9:00pm. All students must be picked up PROMPTLY at 11:30pm.
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Lost tickets will not be replaced.
- Ticket holder assumes all risks of injury, damage, theft or loss of items and releases the Maria M. Love Convalescent Fund from any liability thereof.
- Students are not allowed to wander or leave the building. Once you have left the building you will not be readmitted.
- NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS ALLOWED!
- Anyone arriving under the influence, or suspected of being under the influence, of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted entry to the dance and parents will be called to pick them up immediately.
- The Maria M. Love Convalescent Fund reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone, at anytime for any reason whatsoever. By accepting this ticket and entering the Ball premises, bearer implicitly authorizes the Maria M. Love Convalescent Fund to utilize his/her photograph in any and all promotional materials and expressly releases it from any liability thereof.
IT IS THE PARENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THESE RULES ARE FOLLOWED. These rules and suggestions are meant to make the Charity Ball a safe and fun event.
